Well, maybe not—something else likes my ripening apples. The Gala and Fuji dwarf apple trees that I planted three years ago set fruit and there were at least three apples in each set on Thursday. On Friday, anticipating a warm apple pie smothered with some ice cream, I checked the trees and the apples were gone. None a smidgen remained.

That's life. LOL Perhaps next year you can sit in the swing and keep guard with your BB gun.

Good idea, Patty. I guess if I want any apple pie from my trees somebody is going to have to sit somewhere and keep an eye on the tree.

You mean someone took them?! Do you think the animals ate 'em? Or was it people? That is SO sad.
