Hollyhocks


The pink hollyhock was the last to bloom this summer. I liked it because I could see all of the tiny veins. And it has a wrinkled appearance instead of each petal being smooth like silk.



There were a lot of hollyhocks this summer and that was the only kind of flower that came up from its seed. These were all pink.

they're really beautiful. remind me of our farmyard in wisconsin when i was a kid. :)

I like hollyhocks. As a matter of fact, those are about all that came up this year.

Really beautiful. I have seeds but I have not sox them yet and I think it is too late now.
About your previous post, my american fiend have a big stone near their hall doo carved with their name ans a mountain landscape, with pine trees and two elks.

Yes, save the seeds for next year and I think you will have good results.
