Thanksgiving Day, 2013

What Patty does on Thanksgiving Day — carves the turkey

It will be different this Thanksgiving day (Thursday) at our house. Most of our kids will be celebrating in Florida out along the ocean and from their condos. We will miss them but Melinda and Noah and Melissa and Audrey will be here to help us eat our turkey and have a chit chat. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone.

Remember the wild animals. If you have a heater in your water bowl, remember to plug it in. It is freezing out there today.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. I'm grateful for you and your blogs, especially your bird blogs. I'm thankful for everything that I've learned about wildlife and photography from you. :-)

Thanks for the compliment. I do remember your first few questions about bird photography -- a long time ago -- and many pictures in the past. My new birds blog has a different name. Originally it was "My Birds Blog." Notice what is plural. When Google asked me to change all my blogs because I was getting hacked, I took the "s" off of birds and added the "s" onto blogs. So it is now "My Bird Blogs." I am in the process of making it look more like this one so if you go there it might be a construction mess.

You're welcome. I'm glad you only remember my first few questions because I've bothered you a lot more over the years and you always patiently responded. Thank you! :-) Yes, I did notice the slight difference in the new name. I'm glad you put your bird blog up and renamed it because I was wondering what happened to the original one when it disappeared.

Happy thanksgivin' to you!
Here, Spain, we thought tha your thanksgiving Day is, more or less, similar than our Xmas eve dinner. Families get together.

It is similar to your dinner. We are still eating some turkey.
