Early Morning

This early morning shows one of the squirrels in the oak tree eating a peanut that I had put out for them. You can also see the regular bird feeder that I am using now. I have others that I will use when this one is empty.

Birds, I find so entertaining. That other lurking varmint, not so much. BANG!

The squirrels eat a lot of peanuts.

I have had to stop putting birdseed into the feeders, because the squirrels raid them regularly.

It is just too expensive to pay for that much seed! There are five squirrels in all and they are SMART!

I've heard I could put something more interesting than feed out so they'd leave the bird feeders alone. We'll see.

I have always had the same problem an then remembered they all belong to God and feeding one and not the other could come back to haunt me; so I feed them peanuts and the birds eat the best food I can buy. If the Lord sat down at my humble table, I wouldn't feed him scraps, but the best food in the house. Wildlife are already on a steep slope to extinction and I don't want to be remembered in the history books that I was a miserable miser who let them go extinct. So I feed whatever lands or crawls into my backyard and I even throw perfectly good dog food in the drive way for the crows or whatever want to eat. It is always gone in no time. The neighbors toss out broken up pieces of bread.

It is just the way God made me I guess.
